Manchester United agree deal to sign Serie A winger

Amad Traore to join Manchester United

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Atalanta winger Amad Traore.

The Red Devils have been heavily tipped to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer, but a deal has failed to materialise due to the hefty £108m price tag.

Hence, there have looked at possible alternatives to the Englishman and Fabrizio Romano claims that the club have agreed on a deal worth £27m plus add-ons for Traore.

However, the transfer won't officially go through until the turn of the year due to work permit and passport issues. The Ivorian-born teenager is expected to apply for an Italian passport to secure his transfer.

Traore is regarded as one of the best young wingers in the Serie A. He has caught the eye with his performances for the reserve side. The youngster has managed only 25 minutes for Atalanta, but has already scored once.

Meanwhile, United are also aiming to land the services of Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona. As per Duncan Castles, they could sign the Frenchman on a season-long loan for around £10m.
