Rennes' star winger Raphinha will make a permanent transfer to Leeds United today, with the 23-year-old Brazilian starlet set to sign a four year contract with the Elland Road outfit. The former Sporting Lisbon and Vitoria Guimaraes player will finally complete his on/off move to Leeds United this evening just as the transfer deadline nears.



The Porto Alegre born youngster has caught the eye in Ligue 1 so far this campaign, helping his side with multiple contributions to the club's attacking line. Raphinha has scored 5 goals in 22 games since his arrival at Rennes.

Leeds United will pay a reported £22 million to secure the Brazilian forward's signature, and will beat Valencia and French side Lyon to the signing.

This season, Raphinha has featured six times for Rennes, scoring two goals and getting two assists.

Marcelo Bielsa has moved swiftly to secure Raphinha's signing, knowing full well that impressive displays so far this campaign in Ligue 1 has already attracted several other club's to the player's availability.

The player is likely to be available for Leeds' next league game.
