Real Madrid could make a renewed attempt to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United at the end of the season.

The Frenchman has been inconsistent in the United shirt over the past year and he has recently fallen down the pecking order.

Pogba's current deal is scheduled to expire in June 2022 and so far, there has been no talk regarding a new long-term deal.

According to AS, Los Blancos could revive their long-term interest in Pogba, who could be available for a reduced fee.

Pogba was previously valued at around £100m last year, but he is likely to be available for just £54m in eight months' time.

Meanwhile, former club Juventus are also monitoring the midfielder after resisting from making an approach this summer.

The Bianconeri had identified Pogba as a transfer target, but decided against a move amid the financial impact of COVID-19.

Pogba has started on the bench for United in the past two games in all competitions.
