Is the international break a blessing or a curse? Liverpool has been the most unfortunate club to be on the wrong side of this international break with the injury of center back Joe Gomez and now talisman Mo Salah has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 2 senior players Joe and Salah suffered this fate during this international break. It wasn't long ago when Joe Gomez was confirmed injured during a training session at the famous training ground, St. George's park when on international duty with the English national team. The injury is said to keep him out for a long spell after undergoing a successful scan at the club's base medical facility, which upon hearing the news has left the Anfield manager, Klopp very furious.

Notwithstanding, another hit to the manager will be star man Mo Salah, who has been confirmed positive of Covid-19 while also on international duty with the Egyptian national team. The deadly winger, who attended his brother's wedding ceremony, later came out to have tested positive of Covid-19 and will be returning to the club under isolation and hence will be missing the match against table-toppers Leicester after the international break.

Klopp will now be furious with the fact that he's lost 2 of his senior players, Mo Salah and Joe Gomez, with the latter being the most worrying to him due to lack of quality depth in the central defence.

Salah will be kept in isolation and will be on treatment until further test proves negative.
