United keen on Christian Eriksen

Manchester United have reportedly made an enquiry for Inter Milan's out-of-favour midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The 28-year-old made the move to the Nerazzurri from Spurs last winter, but he has since struggled to adapt to the club's style of play.

In the current season, he has failed to score or assist in his 12 appearances in all competitions, and the majority of those have come off the bench.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, the Dane has come to the agreement to leave the club in January and United are said to have approached for his services.

Aside from the Red Devils, Arsenal are also understood to be interested in the former Ajax graduate as they are desperately on the search for creativity from the number 10 position.

The Dane was purchased for £18m by the Nerazzurri. They are looking to make a quick profit and want around £25m to sanction his permanent exit at the turn of the year.

Eriksen has also been on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain and it remains to be seen whether he is keen on a return to the Premier League, where he has bagged 51 goals and 66 assists from 226 appearances.
