Arsenal unlikely to sign Emiliano Buendia
Arsenal are unlikely to sign Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City this month due to the £40m price tag set by the Championship outfit.
The north London giants are on the hunt for a creative midfielder and they have been linked with several players of late.
Out of those, Buendia has particularly caught their eye with his progress over the past 18 months, but a mid-season deal appears unlikely.
According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, the Gunners hold an interest in Buendia, but he is not the priority target for them this month.
Furthermore, they are unlikely to make a move for his services after learning of the £40m asking price set by the Canaries.
Buendia has been key to the Canaries' promotion push and he has bagged seven goals and seven assists from 19 league appearances.
Hence, Daniel Farke's side are determined to keep hold of him and are reluctant to sanction his sale unless a significant bid is made.
