Real Madrid won't move for Mbappe this summer

Real Madrid won't make an approach to sign Kylian Mbappe until they receive the green light from Paris Saint-Germain.

Les Parisiens have identified Kylian Mbappe as their top target, but they may not afford him this summer due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hence, they are likely to delay their pursuit by at least one more season and Marca claims that the club won't move for the marksman until Les Parisiens open the door for his sale.

The European giants have a huge respect for each another and reports claim that Zinedine Zidane's side won't look to sign the Frenchman unless Les Parisiens are willing to part ways with him.

Mbappe has been a revelation for the French champions and he has bagged 109 goals from only 149 appearances. He will enter the final two years of his contract in July, but he is likely to sign a short-term extension.

The 2018 World Cup winner could see his deal extended until the summer of 2023, but the contract may include a Real Madrid clause, which gives them first priority to sign him in future transfer windows.
