PSG in the race for Matsui

Paris St Germain are reportedly ready to sign Japanese winger Daisuke Matsui from Ligue 1 rivals Le Mans. The Japanese international runs out of a deal in June.

Matsui has not been as regular this season for Le Mans as the form of Romaric has often kept him on the sidelines, but PSG are keen to add more firepower to their squad as they staved off the threat of relegation.

The 26 year old has earned contract discussions with Paris Saint Germain which are already well under way and it appears that Matsui will be joining PSG sometime in August.
