Liverpool still interested in £35m Serie A midfielder
Liverpool are monitoring the performances of Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul ahead of this summer's transfer window.
The Argentine was linked with both Leeds United and the Reds last summer but ultimately neither side were willing to meet the £35m price tag.
According to Tutto Udinese, the Reds are continuing to keep tabs on the 26-year-old and could make a renewed bid at the end of the campaign.
The Merseyside giants are bracing for the departure of Georginio Wijnaldum who has been reluctant to extend his contract which expires in June.
De Paul, who has registered five goals and three assists this term, has been identified as one of the top targets to replace the Dutchman.
Aside from De Paul, Jurgen Klopp's side have also been credited with an interest in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus.
While De Paul is valued at around £35, Neuhaus has a release clause for an identical figure. Monchengladbach won't sell him for anything less.
