United yet to make contact with Ramos

Manchester United have not held any negotiations with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos regarding a summer move, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The Spain international has spent nearly 16 years with Los Blancos where he has made more than 650 appearances in all competitions.

Despite turning 34, he remains an undisputed starter for the club when fit but he could be on the move with his contract expiring in June.

Ramos has been offered a two-year extension by Los Blancos but he has turned down the proposal as it includes a compulsory pay-cut.

He has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain of late but it appears that United have not made any contact with him or his representative.

Ramos is currently sidelined until April after a knee surgery and that is a big blow for the club in their quest for silverware.

Los Blancos will return to Champions League action on Wednesday night with a round of 16 tie against Atalanta BC.
