Manchester United to rival Liverpool for Premier League winger
Manchester United are set to compete with Liverpool to sign Raphinha during this summer's transfer window.
The Brazilian signed for Leeds United from Rennes last summer and he has made a good impact with seven goals and seven assists from 28 games.
His performances have grabbed the attention of United and Liverpool scouts and Football Insider claims that the duo could attempt to sign him.
The Whites are not considering any bids for the versatile winger but reports claim that an offer of around £40m could see them do business.
The Red Devils are on the hunt for a right-sided winger and Raphinha could be a good choice, having already adapted to the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp's side, meanwhile, are eyeing another quality back-up option behind Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, and Raphinha is on their wishlist.
Diogo Jota has excelled for the Reds since his summer move from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but apart from him, the rest have struggled.
The likes of Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Takumi Minamino (out on loan) have barely made an impact off the bench.
