Coppell eyes shock Arsenal win

Reading boss Steve Coppell wants his side to shock Premiership's third placed side Arsenal and win the game at the Emirates. Last weekend Fulham defeated Reading 2-0 and Coppell is hoping to pick up as many points as possible to guarantee survival.

He said: "This game won't break our season but it could make it. As far as I'm concerned it is not a no-lose game because with four games to go a loss is significant but there is everything to play for and everything to gain for us.

"Their season is over in terms of winning the Premier League but as far as the Champions League is concerned finishing second will qualify you automatically so they still have a lot to aim for and play for.

"Is it a good time to play them? We'll know within the first 10 minutes. But beforehand you can't predict an attitude they are going to have and I'm certainly not going to waste time doing it.

"I don't think Arsene will tinker too much with his team. They will have a desire to win as they haven't won recently and will want to put on a good show in front of their own fans.

"They must be looking at us to be the prime candidates to be the next lambs to the slaughter."
