Southgate dismisses injury concern for Mount

England manager Gareth Southgate has allayed fears that Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount had sustained an injury.

Mount was not part of the warm-up training session with the Three Lions and that led to concerns over his fitness.

However, Southgate has dismissed any issue for the 22-year-old by stating that he was part of the remaining sessions.

He added that Mount 'should be fine' and could feature against Poland at Wembley in tomorrow's World Cup qualifier.

He said: "No, he didn't warm up with the team but he did the rest of the session with the team."

"He should be fine. They are all available as far as we are concerned."

Mount has been in fine form for club and country and he recently netted the second goal in the Three Lions' 2-0 win at Albania.

With the strike, he became the first Blues player since Frank Lampard to register a goal or an assist in three consecutive games for England.
