Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms Anthony Martial injury blow
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Anthony Martial could be out injured for the rest of the season.
The Frenchman sustained a knee injury on international duty last month, and it was initially suggested that it was only a minor setback.
However, Martial was spotted wearing a knee brace last week, and Solskjaer has revealed that he may not feature anymore this term.
"Anthony has started his recovery and, if we see him before the end of the season, I will be very surprised. But, of course, he is determined to come back as quickly as he can," he told Manutd.com
Martial has had a tough campaign with the Red Devils, registering only seven goals from 36 appearances in all competitions.
Despite this, he has been a regular choice for Solskjaer, and his absence is definitely a blow for the Red Devils for the season run-in.
Edinson Cavani or Mason Greenwood could lead the line in the Frenchman's absence, given Marcus Rashford has excelled from the left wing.
Rashford has also been struggling with his fitness, but could be available for tomorrow's clash against Granada in the Europa League.
