Arsenal confirm triple fitness boost ahead of Slavia clash
Arsenal have confirmed a triple fitness boost ahead of the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Slavia Prague tomorrow.
The Gunners suffered a 3-0 league defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, where they were without Bukayo Saka, Granit Xhaka and Emile Smith Rowe.
Saka and Smith Rowe missed the game due to minor hamstring and hip injuries respectively while Xhaka was unavailable due to an illness.
All three players returned to full training earlier today, and the Gunners have confirmed that the trio are available for selection.
The Gunners are 10 points behind the top four after the damaging loss to the Reds, but it is unlikely that they will catch up with eight games left.
Hence, they may need to win the Europa League in order to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in five seasons.
They are favourites against Slavia at the Emirates tomorrow, but can't underestimate them after their wins over Leicester City and Rangers.
