Arsenal considering £40m move for Emiliano Buendia?

Buendia to Arsenal?

Arsenal will reportedly revive their interest in Emiliano Buendia, if they are unable to re-sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid this summer.

Buendia was heavily linked with the Gunners last summer, and he was also mentioned as a potential target during the January transfer window.

The Gunners eventually landed the signature of Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid, and he has impressed in his 13 appearances.

According to Eurosport, the north London side are keen to keep hold of Odegaard on either a temporary or permanent deal next term.

However, it is claimed that Odegaard would welcome a return to Los Blancos and therefore, the Gunners may need to look at alternatives.

Buendia has been mentioned as a potential option and it is reported that he could be prised away from Norwich City for around £40m.

Buendia has been in top form for the Canaries this term, registering 12 goals and 16 assists in 33 Championship appearances.

He is also attracting interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool.
