Arsenal ready to sell striker, four European clubs interested

Alexandre Lacazette news

Lacazette on the move this summer?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to sanction the departure of Alexandre Lacazette during this summer's transfer window.

Lacazette has been one of the club's best-performing players since Boxing Day, registering eight goals and two assists in the league.

Despite this, there has been an uncertainty regarding his future with his existing Gunners deal expiring in June 2022.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recently said that contract talks are on hold until the summer, but 90min claims that Lacazette could be sold.

The Gunners' hierarchy are reluctant to hand the striker a long-term deal at the age of nearly 30, and they are prepared to cash in on his services.

Atletico Madrid have been long-term admirers of the Frenchman, and it is reported that Inter Milan, Roma and Sevilla are also keen.

Lacazette is the Gunners' second top scorer this campaign with 13 goals from 35 appearances across all competitions.

He could lead the line for them during the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final tie against Slavia Prague tomorrow.
