Arsenal quoted price to sign RB Leipzig attacker
Arsenal will reportedly need to pay around £35m to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig during the summer transfer window.
Nkunku was regularly linked with the Gunners when Unai Emery was the head coach, but a deal never materialised.
Ultimately, the attacker ended up joining Leipzig on a free transfer in 2019, and he has been a quality signing for them.
Nkunku has 12 goals and 25 assists in 77 appearances, and it is claimed that the Gunners have revived their interest in signing him.
According to Bild's Christian Falk, the north London giants could lure the Frenchman from Leipzig for a fee of around £35m this summer.
However, they could face competition with cross-town rivals Tottenham Hotspur also interested in the 23-year-old playmaker.
Meanwhile, the German journalist mentioned that Julian Draxler, who has been a long-term target, could be an alternative option.
Draxler will be available on a free transfer when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires at the end of the campaign.
