Borussia Dortmund make Erling Haaland transfer decision
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has stated that Erling Haaland will stay with the club next season amid interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Norwegian has had a superb campaign for Dortmund, registering 35 goals and 11 assists from 37 appearances in all competitions.
In recent weeks, it has been claimed that Dortmund could sell him for £120m this summer, given his £65m buy-out clause will become active in June next year.
However, Zorc has clarified that the 20-year-old will remain with Dortmund next term regardless of where they finish in the Bundesliga this season.
"No matter where we end up, Erling Haaland will continue to play with us," Zorc told Sky Sport Germany.
Dortmund are currently four points adrift of the Champions League places with only four games left in the league campaign.
The club are facing financial concerns amid COVID-19, and the failure to make the top four could see them cash in on some players.
