United won't sell Van de Beek this summer

Manchester United have no plans of parting ways with Donny van de Beek when the transfer window reopens this summer.

The Dutchman joined the club from Ajax last year under much fanfare, but he has barely featured in the Premier League.

He has made 32 appearances in all competitions for the club, but just two of those have been starts in the league.

This has led to fierce speculation that the midfielder could move elsewhere, but The Sun claims that United won't entertain offers.

The hierarchy still value the 23-year-old highly, and won't consider any bids to prise him away in the forthcoming transfer window.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called for patience over Van de Beek in the past, and promised more playing time next season.

He has hardly started games in any competition, and his position could remain similar for the remainder of the campaign.

Aside from Van de Beek, the club are also keen to keep hold of Alex Telles, who has played second fiddle to left-back Luke Shaw.
