Liverpool are open to the prospect of selling Naby Keita during the forthcoming transfer window.

The 26-year-old has failed to impress since joining from RB Leipzig in 2018, and has suffered multiple injury setbacks.

Keita has made only 16 appearances in all competitions this season, and just 10 of those have come through the league.

According to Irish outlet Sunday World, the Reds are open to selling the midfielder, who has been unused in the past four games.

He still has two years remaining on his contract, but the Merseyside outfit are prepared to offload him for around £30m.

That will constitute a loss of around £20m, and they are prepared to take it in order to recoup funds for summer signings.

Leicester City are reportedly leading the race to sign the Guinea international with manager Brendan Rodgers being an admirer.

Rodgers is looking to add more quality within the squad ahead of a potential return to Champions League football next term.
