Manchester United to sell Paul Pogba?

Pogba on the move this summer?

Manchester United will consider the departure of midfielder Paul Pogba unless he is prepared to sign a new long-term deal.

The Frenchman's current contract expires in less than 14 months and so far, he has yet to commit to a possible extension.

According to The Mirror, United are confident about their prospects of renewing the contract of the World Cup winner.

However, a breakdown in negotiations could see them part ways with the midfielder, who is on the radar of Real Madrid.

United will aim to recoup the entire £89m fee paid to Juventus five years ago. The Bianconeri are also open to re-signing their former player.

Pogba is currently on wages of £300,000-a-week, and he reportedly wants a mammoth £200,000 hike to sign an extension.

United are unlikely to bow to his demands, but they are optimistic that they can make the breakthrough in the negotiations.

Pogba has made 201 appearances for the Red Devils to date.
