Manchester City, Chelsea interested in Leicester City attacker

Manchester City and Chelsea could compete for the signature of James Maddison during the summer transfer window.

Maddison has had another fine campaign with the Foxes, registering 11 goals and 10 assists from 40 appearances in all competitions.

He has another three years remaining on his contract, but Fichajes claims that both City and Blues could attempt to sign him this summer.  

The Blues have struggled with their finishing over the course of the campaign, and they are aiming to add more creativity in the final third.

Meanwhile, the Cityzens are looking to bolster their ranks further, and have their sights on landing another dynamic midfielder this summer.

Maddison has struggled for form since his return from a hamstring injury, and he was only a substitute in the FA Cup final win over Chelsea.

The Foxes are scheduled to face the Blues again in the Premier League on Tuesday night, and a win would guarantee them Champions League football.
