Manchester United handed big boost in signing 16-goal attacker
Manchester United have been handed a big boost in signing Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho this summer.
Sancho was heavily tipped to join them during the 2020 summer transfer window, but they were reluctant to meet the €120m price tag.
The 21-year-old has had another fine season for Dortmund with 16 goals and 20 assists from just 37 appearances in all competitions.
According to Sport1, Sancho is eager to join the Red Devils after being left disappointed with the failed approach last year.
Sancho's current deal expires in two years' time, and United could prise him away for a fee of around €85m this summer.
United have already held negotiations with the player's representatives, and they could finalise a move before the Euros.
Dortmund are likely to welcome a quick deal such that they have sufficient time to bring in a suitable replacement for Sancho.
Meanwhile, the German giants have no plans to part ways with Erling Braut Haaland despite the intense speculation over his future.
