Manchester United still favourites to sign winger with 21 assists
Manchester United continue to lead the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in the next transfer window.
The Red Devils were heavily linked with him last summer, but they refused to meet the £108m price tag.
Sancho has had another top season for Dortmund, registering 16 goals and 21 assists from 37 appearances for the club.
He has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool lately, but The Athletic claims that United are leading the race.
Sancho has two years remaining on his contract, and he could be available for a lesser fee of around £80m this summer.
Mason Greenwood has flourished from the right-wing role lately, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a specialist for the position.
Sancho could be the perfect fit, having bagged 24 goals and 37 assists while playing in the position for Dortmund.
United see Greenwood as a potential future striker. He was a genuine number nine when he was playing in the youth ranks.
