Kolasinac set for permanent Arsenal exit

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is expected to be sold when the transfer window reopens this summer.

The Bosnian defender fell out-of-favour under manager Mikel Arteta, and he was loaned out to Schalke 04 in January.

Kolasinac was immediately handed the captaincy, but he could not turn the club's fortunes around as they were relegated.

The left-back has another year remaining on his Gunners contract, and football.london claims that the club are open to offers.

Schalke, who were relegated from the Bundesliga after 30 years, are interested in re-signing him on a cut-price deal.

Lazio are also in the running to sign the 27-year-old. They would offer a better financial package to both the club and the player.

The north London giants currently have Kieran Tierney as the only specialist left-back in the first-team squad.

They are expected to address the concern. They have Southampton's Ryan Bertrand and Hibernian's Josh Doig on their radar.

Bertrand will be available on a free transfer when his Saints contract expires at the end of next month.
