Manchester United in for Coman?

Manchester United have expressed their interest in signing Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman this summer.

The Frenchman has two years remaining on his Bayern contract, but talks over an extension have reportedly stalled.

Bayern are assessing his future, and Sport1 claims that United have declared their interest in the World Cup winner.

The Red Devils have identified Jadon Sancho as their top attacking target, but they have yet to negotiate the fee.

Their initial €70m bid has fallen short of Borussia Dortmund's €95m valuation, and a new proposal is being planned.

In case there is a breakdown in the negotiations, the Red Devils could revive their long-term interest in Coman.

Coman had an impressive 2020/21 campaign for Bayern, registering eight goals and 15 assists across all competitions.

Bayern are open to selling him for around €50m. United could face stiff competition from Chelsea for his services.

The Blues are willing to listen to offers for Hakim Ziyech, and Coman has been identified as a potential replacement.
