Leicester City to sign Patson Daka
Leicester City have beaten the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to sign Patson Daka this summer.
The Red Bull Salzburg striker was in exceptional form last term, registering 34 goals and 12 assists from 42 appearances.
He has been linked with several high-profile clubs across Europe, but the Foxes have reportedly won the race to sign him.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Foxes have agreed the transfer fee with Salzburg for the Zambia international.
It is added that Daka has finalised personal terms, and will sign a five-year contract after undergoing his medical.
The Foxes currently have Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho as their strikers, but the former is no longer in his prime.
Iheanacho stood out with regular goals during the back end of last season, but there are doubts whether he can sustain the form.
Daka will arrive at the Foxes with an excellent scoring record, and it remains to be seen whether he can make an instant impact.
