Manchester United make transfer decision on Donny van de Beek

United don't have plans to offload Van de Beek

Manchester United have no plans of parting ways with midfielder Donny van de Beek despite the recent speculation.

The Netherlands international joined the club from Ajax last summer under much fanfare, but had a disappointing debut season.

He barely played over the course of the campaign, and was restricted to just over 500 minutes of game time in the Premier League.

It was recently reported that he could be used as a makeweight by United as they look to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.

However, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano has dismissed the speculation by saying that the club won't be selling the Dutchman.

Van de Beek is also determined to prove himself with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer open to offering him more playing time next term.

United are still on the look out for a new midfielder amid the uncertainty over Paul Pogba, who has entered the final year of his contract.

Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga has emerged as the prime transfer target.
