Manchester United keen on signing Juventus star?

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Juventus defender Merih Demiral this summer.

The Turkey international had an injury-plagued 2020/21 season, making just 24 appearances for the Bianconeri.

He is one of the players, who could be sold by the Turin giants, and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that United are interested.

The Red Devils are in advanced negotiations to sign Real Madrid's Raphael Varane, who is valued at around £60 million.

However, it has been claimed that they are keen on signing another centre-back with a possible switch to a back three.

Eric Bailly only signed a new contract in April, but he could be offloaded by the club with interest from several Spanish clubs. 

Meanwhile, Axel Tuanzebe has been touted to leave on loan. Aston Villa could approach to sign him with an option to buy. 

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are currently the regular centre-back choices, but the latter has received criticism from fans for his displays.
