Chelsea midfielder makes the move to Serie A giants
Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has made the move to AC Milan on a two-year loan deal.
The Frenchman has spent the past three seasons away on loan, and he has now returned to the Rossoneri.
The 27-year-old was previously with the club between 2018 and 2019. He was desperate to rejoin them.
Milan previously rejected an option to re-sign him permanently as they did not want to pay a €40m fee.
Bakayoko has now rejoined them on loan for two seasons. The club have a buy clause which may vary.
Based on the performances of the player and club, the final valuation for a transfer could be between €15-20m.
Bakayoko's Blues contract was due to expire in June next year. He has signed a two-year extension before leaving.
The Blues are planning at least one big-name signing before the deadline. They have their sights on landing Jules Kounde.
Sevilla recently increased their valuation of the centre-back. The Blues must pay at least €65m up front for the Frenchman.
