Manchester United defender wants permanent Aston Villa transfer

Tuanzebe wants permanent Villa stay

Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is reportedly keen on making the permanent move to Aston Villa next summer.

The 23-year-old made the return to Villa on loan last month. He has since registered two starts in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, Tuanzebe believes he has the right platform to develop under head coach Dean Smith.

The Red Devils graduate is open to a permanent stay if Villa are tempted to consider the option next summer.

Tuanzebe was United's fourth-choice centre-back last term with Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly ahead of him.

He dropped further down the pecking order this summer with Raphael Varane's arrival. That paved the way for a loan exit.

Before leaving, he put pen-to-paper on a new deal until the summer of 2023 with the option to extend for another 12 months.

Tuanzebe appears to have no future with the Red Devils. He will be aiming to convince Villa into landing him permanently.
