Arsenal make contract decision on Alexandre Lacazette
Arsenal have decided against renewing the contract of Alexandre Lacazette, according to ESPN.
The Frenchman has entered his fifth season with the Gunners, but he could soon be heading for the exit door.
His current deal expires in 10 months, and it is now reported that the club are not in negotiations over a renewal.
The club focused on pursuing young players this summer, and there appears a definite change in transfer policy.
Lacazette currently earns around £180,000 weekly. The Gunners have no plans of keeping him on an improved deal.
The striker can negotiate a pre-contract with a foreign club from January.
Atletico Madrid, Roma, Sevilla, AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly among the clubs interested in him.
The Bianconeri have been fancied to make a transfer offer in January, but it is likely to be rejected by the Gunners.
The London giants are expected to keep Lacazette for the season with a replacement only to be signed next summer.
