Gerrard: don't blame Riise

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard declared that Norweigan midfielder John Arne Riise must not be blamed for the late injury time goal that gifted Chelsea an equaliser and an away goal in the Champions League semi final.

Gerrard said: "These ties are decided on small details and unfortunately the little bit of luck's gone to Chelsea at the end.

"But maybe we'll get a bit of luck at Stamford Bridge. No fingers pointed at John; we're all in this together."

Benitez: we can still make the final

He said: "We must now be positive and clear our minds. If we play like that at Stamford Bridge next week and take those chances, we will go through.

"We have confidence in ourselves. I am confident we can do it, I will recall the first 20 minutes of the second period when we were very much on top of Chelsea. If we can do that again at Stamford Bridge, we can still get to the final."
