Newcastle United have their sights on Manchester United outcast

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Donny van de Beek during the January transfer window.
The Dutchman has struggled since his move to Manchester United last year. He has played just over 500 minutes of Premier League football.
Van de Beek was keen on a potential loan move to Everton this summer, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intervened and blocked his departure.
The 24-year-old has since been a regular unused substitute, and he is seriously assessing his options ahead of the New Year.
Van de Beek is no longer in contention for the Dutch squad due to his lack of league minutes, and he could miss out on a World Cup spot.
He is desperate to avoid the prospect of that happening, and it is claimed by Nicolo Schira that the Magpies are interested in his services.
The Tyneside outfit were recently taken over by a Saudi-led consortium, and they are expected to spend big in coming transfer windows.
They are planning a move for Van de Beek this winter. Juventus and Everton are also expected to make offers of their own for the player.
