Chelsea defender talks up new long-term contract
Andreas Christensen has talked up a new long-term contract with Chelsea while on international duty with Denmark.
The centre-back has been a key figure under manager Thomas Tuchel, but there is still uncertainty regarding his future.
His current contract expires at the end of the campaign, but the hierarchy have yet to finalise terms over a possible renewal.
Despite this, Christensen has always been positive about staying at the club. He recently admitted that he 'feels good' where he is.
Talks are planned when he returns from international duty. The Blues will be keen to sort out his future before the New Year.
The club find themselves in a similar position with Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger as well as club captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
Azpilicueta is expected to sign a one-year extension, but Silva could pursue a return to Brazil when his contract concludes.
Rudiger is in a stand-off with the Blues over wages. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on his situation.
