Manchester United confirm fresh injury blow
Manchester United have confirmed that Raphael Varane could be out for a few weeks after picking up a groin injury on international duty.
The Frenchman sustained the problem during the Nations League final, and he is now expected to miss key games for the Red Devils.
Harry Maguire is already on the sidelines with a groin injury. The club will be without their regular centre-backs for the weekend.
The Red Devils make the trip to Leicester City on Saturday. Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly are expected to start in central defence.
The duo have played just once this season. That came during the 1-0 defeat to West Ham United in the League Cup third round.
They were far from impressive during that game, and could have easily conceded two or more goals towards the end of the contest.
They have a huge test of their credentials ahead, considering the schedule is tedious with several high-profile clubs to encounter.
The club face Leicester, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in the Premier League before the next international break.
