Arsenal to cash in on William Saliba?

William Saliba news

Saliba to leave Arsenal next summer?

Arsenal could cash in on William Saliba following his season-long loan at Marseille, The Sun reports.

The Frenchman has been with the Gunners since the summer of 2019, but he has yet to make his competitive debut.

He has been loaned out to Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille to date, and it is unclear whether he is in Mikel Arteta's plans.

According to The Sun, Saliba feels unappreciated by the Gunners boss, and feels his future could be away from the club.

Saliba will enter the final two years of his contract next summer, and it is claimed that the Gunners could cash in on him.

He appears unlikely to sign a renewal with his current situation, and they could seek to recoup the transfer fee paid.

The 20-year-old was purchased for around £28m from St Etienne. The Gunners should fancy recouping the entire sum.

Saliba has been building his reputation in Ligue 1 lately. He has put up several standout displays for fourth-placed Marseille.
