Liverpool still keen on signing Premier League winger
Liverpool remain interested in signing Watford winger Ismaila Sarr ahead of the January transfer window, Calciomercato claims.
The Senegal international has been linked with the Reds over the past 12 months, but nothing has materialised in terms of a transfer.
It is now claimed that Sarr remains one of the club's prime transfer targets, having watched his impressive showing over the past few months.
Sarr was one of the Hornets' stand-out performers in their promotion to the top-flight, and he has continued to excel with five goals this term.
The Reds ae keeping a keen eye on his development, and could make an approach to sign him in either January or next summer.
Watford are in a strong position to negotiate with the winger's contract only expiring in June 2024. They are likely to demand around £45m.
Manchester United have also been linked with his services in the past, but they have cooled their interest after landing long-term target Jadon Sancho.
