Milan giants interested in signing Alex Telles?

Inter and AC Milan could go head-to-head to sign Manchester United left-back Alex Telles during the winter transfer window.

The Brazilian joined the Red Devils from Porto last year, but he has since struggled to nail down a regular starting position.

He has recently enjoyed a run of starts, but could drop to the bench when Luke Shaw is deemed fit after his head injury.

According to The Sun, Inter and AC Milan are lining up winter offers for Telles as they look to boost their title prospects.

United seem unlikely to entertain any mid-season bids, but their stance could change if they can find a suitable replacement.

Telles has made 30 appearances for the Red Devils thus far. Just 12 of those games have come in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old did not play a single minute of league football this term until Shaw was substituted with concussion last month.

With a new manager in Ralf Rangnick, he has the opportunity to establish himself as the regular left-back ahead of Luke Shaw.
