Lukaku open to Inter return

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has said that he is unhappy with the system under manager Thomas Tuchel.

The Belgian rejoined the Blues after seven seasons last summer. He started off in prime fashion with three goals from as many games.

However, he has netted just four goals from the next 15 matches. An ankle injury has hampered him, but he is also unhappy with his situation.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Lukaku said that he won't give up on the Blues, but he is not pleased with the style of play under the current boss.

"Tuchel has chosen to play with another system - I won't give up, I'll be professional. I am not happy with the situation but I am professional - and I can't give up now," he said.

The 28-year-old added that he has Inter in his heart, and he aims to return to the Nerazzurri when he is still playing in his prime.

Lukaku has recently netted in back-to-back games for the Blues, and his comments should come as a shock for many supporters.

He is fondly admired by several of the club's faithful, but his latest interview is bound to spoil his relationship among the fanbase.
