Ralf Rangnick to block winter exit of Man Utd star
Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick will reportedly block the departure of Dean Henderson next month.
Henderson is desperate for regular first-team football, having played back-up to goalkeeper David de Gea this term.
It was recently reported that he could be loaned out, but that appears unlikely to happen during the January transfer window.
According to Manchester Evening News, Rangnick wants three first-team keepers in the squad, and prefers to keep Henderson.
He has also told his decision to the shot-stopper. Henderson may have to wait until the summer to head for the exit door.
Tottenham Hotspur were heavily linked with Henderson last summer before they signed Pierluigi Gollini on loan from Atalanta.
The north London giants are still interested in landing his services, and they are likely to make a renewed approach next summer.
Antonio Conte's side are braced for the exit of captain Hugo Lloris whose contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
