Arsenal willing to meet price tag for Dusan Vlahovic?
Arsenal are willing to meet the price tag for Dusan Vlahovic, provided Fiorentina accept staggered payments.
The Serbian has been identified as their prime striker target, and talks are already underway with the Serie A club.
Vlahovic is open to the potential transfer, but Independent claims that the structure of the payment could prove a hurdle.
Fiorentina value their marksman at around €75 million, and want the majority of the fee to be paid up front by the Gunners.
However, the north London giants are not in a position to do so, and prefer to pay the transfer fee over a period of four years.
This could be a stumbling block for the transfer. Negotiations are still ongoing to convince La Viola over payment terms.
Vlahovic netted a stunning 41 goals for club and country last year. He has plans to move on after snubbing a new contract.
His current deal with La Viola expires in the summer of 2023. The Florence outfit may prefer to cash in on his services this month.
