Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang close to Arsenal exit?

Aubameyang on his way out?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be edging closer to leaving Arsenal after being left out of the winter training camp in Dubai.

The Gabon international was dropped by manager Mikel Arteta in early December following a disciplinary breach.

He has since failed to make the matchday squad for the Gunners, and has been training alone away from the training ground.

According to The Athletic, Aubameyang is not part of the squad that has travelled to Dubai for the special training camp.

The striker's relationship with Arteta has soured in recent weeks, and it appears he may have played his final game for the club.

The Gunners are open to offloading him before Monday's training deadline, though they are looking for the right proposal.

A loan deal could be a possible solution, though any interested club will need to pay the majority of his £250,000-a-week wages.

Prior to his exit, the Gunners are being touted to pursue another striker. They are looking at different options ahead of the deadline.
