Tottenham Hotspur make transfer decision on Antonio Rudiger

Tottenham Hotspur won't look to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer this summer, Football Insider claims.
The north London giants were heavily linked with Rudiger in the summer of 2020 after he was deemed surplus to requirements by Frank Lampard.
He was touted to join them on loan, but a deal failed to materialise. The German has since revived his career after Lampard's sacking.
Thomas Tuchel was appointed as Lampard's successor in January 2021. Rudiger has been an ever-present figure under his tutelage.
The centre-back has regularly played on the left side of a back three, and has barely put a foot wrong over the past 12 months for the Blues.
Despite this, there has been no progress over a new contract due to his significant wage demands which have also put Spurs off.
Rudiger will be a free-agent when his contract expires in June. Spurs appear unlikely to pursue him due to his £300,000-a-week demands.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on his situation.
