Man Utd make contact with Serie A defender?

Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Torino over a summer move for Bremer.

The 24-year-old has been in superb form for the Serie A outfit, who are currently 11th in the league standings.

His form has caught the eye of several high-profile clubs including Inter and Juventus, but they face strong competition.

According to TuttoJuve, the Red Devils have entered the pursuit of Bremer, and have already held initial talks with Torino.

Bremer signed a one-year renewal last month, but he could still leave the club with his deal expiring in the summer of 2024.

United have yet to make a formal transfer bid, but they are likely to monitor the defender for the rest of the current season.

Any approach for the centre-back could coincide with the departure of at least one high-profile defender at Old Trafford.

Eric Bailly appears the most likely to head for the exit door, having played sparingly over the course of the ongoing campaign.
