Former Liverpool midfielder eyeing Premier League return
Georginio Wijnaldum will consider a move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window, a report from L'Equipe claims.
The Dutchman was previously at Liverpool for six seasons. He left them on a free transfer to join Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Wijnaldum has since made 30 appearances across all competitions, but he has averaged just over 55 minutes per game under Pochettino.
It is now reported that he will consider a return to the Premier League, but Liverpool are not said to be interested in re-signing him.
Still, there could be plenty of offers on the table. Both Arsenal and Newcastle United were linked with him during the winter transfer window.
Les Parisiens were reluctant to lose him midway through the campaign, but they are willing to entertain bids at the end of the season.
The Gunners appear unlikely to revisit their interest as they were only looking for a loan deal in January. Wijnaldum could return to the Magpies.
