Man Utd goalkeeper on his way to Newcastle?

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is attracting interest from Newcastle United ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Magpies were keen on landing Henderson on loan in January, but could not finalise a deal before the transfer deadline.

United wanted Martin Dubravka to join them in a loan swap, but the Slovakian had no desire to make the move to Old Trafford.

According to Northern Echo, the Magpies will try again for Henderson this summer, and prefer to sign him permanently.

Henderson is desperate for regular game time, and he is eager to leave the Red Devils to boost his selection hopes with England.

Ajax and Tottenham are keeping tabs on him, but the Magpies could be favourites to land his services ahead of next season.

Henderson was reportedly valued at £40m in 2020 following his stand-out campaign with Sheffield United in the top-flight.

However, he has barely played over the past two years, and this is bound to reduce his valuation ahead of the next transfer window.
