Celtic keep SPL race alive
Celtic defeated Rangers 3-2 on Sunday to keep the Scottish Premier League race wide open, and to move five points clear on top of the SPL. However, Rangers have three games in hand - so technically either side have a chance of winning.
Australia striker Scott McDonald gave Celtic the deserved lead iearly on.
But David Weir and Daniel Cousin scored from corners by Steven Davis and gave Rangers a 2-1 lead.
McDonald netted with a deflected shot from the edge of the area for his 23rd league goal of the season to level the scores.
Celtic was awarded a penalty when Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot fouled McDonald, and Robson scored from the spot.
Rangers defender Steven Whittaker was sent off for a second yellow card in the final minute, hauling down Shunsuke Nakamura.
The season could be extended if Rangers manage to conquer Fiorentina in the UEFA Cup semi-final.
