Man Utd and Arsenal to battle for Leicester star?

Manchester United and Arsenal could go head-to-head to sign Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer.

The Belgian has established himself as a key player for the Foxes, but he is eyeing a bigger challenge at the end of the season.

According to CBS Sports, the Foxes are braced for his departure after the lack of progress in contract negotiations this year.

He could be available for as little as £25m with his current deal expiring in June 2023. United and Arsenal are both interested.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old has been linked with Liverpool in the past, but the Reds are not planning to pursue another midfielder.

Tielemans has not played Champions League football since his time at Monaco. He could be eyeing a return to the competition.

United and Arsenal are currently outside of the top four, but the latter are in a good position to qualify for the Champions League.

They are presently goal difference behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, but have a game in hand over their north London rivals.
